Silvana Reggiardo's relationship to photography is based on a sensitive experience: experience of walking, of space, visual experience. Without trying to document reality, Silvana Reggiardo records the light, photographs the air, captures color variations on urban glazing in an approach which considers photography as a visual object rather than as a recording instrument.

Born in 1967 in Argentina, she lives and works in Paris.
She obtained a double degree in photography, multimedia and human sciences. Urban spaces are her privileged areas of experience.
Her work was recently presented in Lyon by Le bleue du ciel, at Occurrence, Espace d'art et d'essai contemporain, Montreal, Quebec, at CPIF -Centre photographique d'Ile-de-France, at the Festival fotoencuentros, Murcia / Cartagena (ES), and she presented a solo show on the gallery booth at Paris Photo 2018 fair at the Grand Palais.
Her images are present in public and private collections, including the Frac Haute-Normandie, the Artothèque of Caen, the Bibliothèque nationale de France, the Carnavalet museum and the Cajamurcia foundation.
