The 3rd edition of Rendez-vous à Saint-Briac will take place over the Ascension weekend, a not-to-be-missed event for those who are interested, intrigued or passionate about contemporary art...
4 days during which the village gets in tune with contemporary art. It's an opportunity to stroll through the pretty village of Saint-Briac-sur-Mer while discovering the exhibitions of 8 contemporary art galleries, 6 art venues and 2 collections, which for the duration of the weekend will be taking over municipal sites such as the Ecole Publique, the former Presbytery, the Halles, the Couvent de la Sagesse, the Chapelle de la Sagesse, the Centre d'affaires l'Estran, the Vigie (video festival), as well as Monik Rabasté's Jardin Atelier.
A prestigious and abundant artistic offering:
8 contemporary art galleries, 6 art venues, 2 private collections, over 80 artists, 1 artists' video festival, and an art and partner tombola!
Free admission
11am to 1pm and 3pm to 7pm, every day from May 10 to 13, 2018
Continuing to work with the gallery's artists, Melanie RIO FLUENCY presents a show based on photography: Franck Gérard invites us on a stroll through the city of Los Angeles, Ambroise Tézenas offers a dreamlike approach to the city of Paris haunted by an impalpable human presence, while Patrick Tourneboeuf's Monoliths, remnants of the Second World War, are collapsing under sand and vegetation. Two videos by Franck Gérard and Delphine Deguislage will also be shown on Saturday, May 12, as part of the artists' video festival at La Vigie.
