On the last weekend of September 2017, MELANIE RIO FLUENCY presented NOVEDENA SESSION#02, an art event conceived as an invitation to "LIVE ART IN DAILY LIFE".
After a first edition in April 2017 focusing on artist publishing and photographers' use of Instagram, it was the turn of visual artists Briac Leprêtre and Thomas Tudoux to present their latest paintings and sculptures in the townhouse at 34 boulevard Guist'hau in Nantes.
Briac Leprêtre continues his series of watercolors that meticulously depict the banality of everyday life.
Thomas Tudoux 's wax trophies and ex-voto paintings inspired by the Guinness Book of Records point with wry humor to the contemporary cult of performance.
On Sunday afternoon, the exhibition was enlivened by the duo Antonin Margaux, who live-printed proposals imagined by Briac Leprêtre and Thomas Tudoux using their Charrette, a mobile screen-printing device.
